Match Report | Torbay started well but against the run of play, East Devon broke and finished a good move with a well taken goal in the corner. Torbay hit back minutes later, but struggled to dominate in a close fought first half. east Devon scored a second time and then when a Torbay player was judged to have inadvertently used their body to stop a shot, the resulting penalt was converted. Torbay continued to battle and at times it was a battle, with some poor challenges coming in at times. Jon Avery hit one back and Captain JJ found an equaliser with minutes to play. Torbay finished the stronger and had a couple of half chances, but on balance, a draw was a good point earned. Debutant Finley Dennison was awarded man of the match after a very strong first half. |
